Up with the White and Gold! Our color palette unifies Georgia Tech’s visual identity system across all media and is used to build greater consistency of the Institute’s brand across campus.
Core Colors
Use the core colors in a clear, consistent way across all branded materials. White and Gold should lead the visual palette, creating a strong and cohesive foundation. Navy can be used to add contrast and balance, supporting the overall design without becoming the dominant color.
NOTE: Use accessible color combinations to improve legibility and ensure Georgia Tech content meets accessibility standards. Gold text on a white background does not meet accessibility requirements. Use Dark Gold instead for WCAG AA compliance.

Gradient Colors
Gradients are included in the color palette to provide an alternative to large areas of solid Gold and Navy, which can feel heavy when overused. Use gradients in places that require broader applications of color. The gold gradient should be paired with black text, and the navy gradient should be paired with white text to maintain accessibility.
NOTE: Light Gold, Medium Navy, and Bright Blue are reserved for use within gradients only.

Using the Brand Colors
Accent colors must be applied subordinately to the core and secondary colors. They should represent no more than 10% of the overall color application in the design or layout.
Consider audience expectations and relationships with the Institute brand when selecting and applying accent colors.
Use this visual guide to apply colors in the correct proportions, ensuring consistency and alignment with our core brand palette.
